Our volunteers help community members stay safe by providing medical care and first aid support at community events and during natural disasters.
Having our members on scene means quicker response times and better health outcomes for patients. It also lowers demand on local ambulance and health services. Our volunteers are passionate leaders within the community who offer their time, expertise and energy to improve access to healthcare and increase first aid awareness.
Our community programs include a free First Aid in Schools program for primary school children, and awareness campaigns focused on the importance of bystander CPR and public access to defibrillators.
We proudly run successful youth programs (Cadets & Juniors), where we teach first aid and leadership skills to 8–17-year-olds throughout NSW, building youth skills and giving them the opportunity to contribute to their community.
