About Orange Sky
Orange Sky Australia is the world's first free mobile laundry and shower service for people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
Each week, in 38 locations all over Australia, thousands of Orange Sky volunteers continue to provide clean clothing, warm showers, and non-judgmental conversation with people who too often feel disconnected from their community.
Over the years we've learnt that, although access to laundry and shower services is important, it's the conversation that happens while the laundry is being done that creates the biggest impact. Our focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for regular connection with people to help ease the feelings of isolation felt by so many when times get tough.
